Another way is far, far, far easier and less chance of damaging the gun or rifle, and as opposed to spray paint ... not PERMANENTLY! Another way to make your own wrap with a rifle jute / burlap or some elastic synthetic yarn and nets or buy a rifle wraps, cost of internet.

When you camouflage rifle, you want to paint with colors that will join with the environment. Disguise will also remove the shine of metal pieces from a rifle, such as bolts, triggers and barrels. The first thing you will be asked to do is to visit the house that supplies your neighborhood store and buy paint that will help you disguise weapons. The colors that you will need will be a flat green, flat black, khaki flat, flat and brown. Flat paint will help you eliminate shine and glare of weapons.

In the first step prior to painting gun, you'll have two options. You can unload the gun and paint in part or you could just paint it as a whole and the mask of the segment that you do not want to paint. If you choose the option masking tape then you can take the blue paint of the store and covered from the barrel, bolt, glass scope and triggers etc.

Once unloaded pistol masked or you can begin to apply the first coat of paint. This coat will be solid and will be applied throughout the shotgun. The color will depend on the type of site you are going to use. If in the woods you can start with a basic color green, or if your location is a desert, the color will be brown or khaki. Apply a coat and let dry rifle.

Once dry rifles, continue and apply a second coat. There will be another decision that you will have to take over this point. The second layer of color will depend on the color of plant life in the area. If it is a meadow, then you can 'stripe' pistol with a green color. If the forest area, then you will have to 'stain' cat. Doing this will help you to complete your work from camouflage rifle. You can also create a pattern of interesting plants with paint on your rifle. The pattern must be similar to the pattern in that area. You can easily have a pattern on the gun, take a leaf from the area and keep the paint cans and a pistol. Start painting and you would have painted the outline of the leaf.

You will have to repeat the process until you paint the entire rifle and make it look like a local. Avoid symmetry as it will appear in the area. The use of brown and black colors should be limited to just the accent. Once the paint is dry you will be able to unmask the area or put the pieces back together rifle. You will be proud of the work camouflage rifle you have done.
